FLOWER FROG & BOWL MADE in JAPAN

The bowl is decorated with black and coral with tiny indentations around the top of the pattern where the clay shows through.
Size is approx: Bowl measures 5.75" across and 2.25" tall. Frog is 2.5" across and 1.25" tall.

This flower shaped vase by Gonder is a beautiful blue-gray on the outside and pink inside. Bottom Has H-79, Gonder and USA. Dimensions are appx. 7 ½" tall by 5" wide and 3 ½" deep. Nelson McCoy Pelican Planter

Cream Color Nelson McCoy 1940's Pelican Planter. This planter is cream colored and signed with the NM, USA mark on the bottom. It is appx. 5 1/2" tall by 5" in width by 7 ½" in length. There is still some cold paint on the head but as the picture shows it's almost gone. It also has a small ¼" long by 1/8” wide chip on the rim of the planter and is a little ruff along the back wing edge. Overall the condition would rate from good to very good condition.

Villeroy & Bach Dresden Saxonly Bowls

Beautiful vintage set of three nesting bowls, diameters: 9.5", 8.25", & 7", in a rich pumpkin exterior color with a stylized Fuchsia and leaf pattern carved out around the top edge.
These are in wonderful condition considering their age. The only damage is tiny pinholes on the edges. There is some discoloration around the top inside of the large and medium bowls and all three show some age crazing as seen on the photo of the mark.

Two Handled Kissing Stein

Definitely the most unusual stein I have ever seen! This short stein has two handles and pictures a couple sharing the two-handled stein while looking in each other’s eyes. A banner above the couple says ‘KISSING STEIN’ in raised letters. Around the top is “KISSING’S SWEET WITH LOVE SO TENDER” and around the bottom “KISSING MAKES THE HEART SURRENDER” in incised letters. Size is appx. 4 ¼” tall by 3 ½” in diameter. Condition: Mint with NO chips, cracks or paint loss. Marks: Lego copyright and ‘Fine Quality Lego Japan’ red & gold foil sticker.

US Post Office
Window/Cage

This is an old U.S. Post Office Teller Window. According to the decal over the window this was made by the Postmasters Supply Co. in either Indianapolis Ind. or Kansas City MO.

There is a lever in the top back of the window that allows you to raise or lower the bars. This is still functional. There are several cubbyholes for sorting mail in the back, a slot under the counter for dropping mail and a bin in the back to catch the deposits. There are also two shallow drawers under the counter, presumably for sheets of stamps.

As seen in the photos there is considerable surface rust but this appears to be a sound piece of history in spite of the years of neglect. There are some paint remnants on the top that indicate it was Army Green at one time.

Origin unknown but it could be from the old Post Office in Ola, SD. I have also been told that it could have been from a military base.

Size 46"h x 33"w x 17.5"d. Condition: Surface Rust.

Boxes

This is a unit of old U.S. Post Office Boxes.The doors are brass with combination locks and small glass windows. All glass panes are with the unit but one of the middle-sized boxes is missing the spring clip that holds the glass in place. As seen in the photos there is oxidation on some of the doors and there is surface rust (20-25%) on the metal unit but this appears to be a sound piece of history in spite of the years of neglect. The sides are painted Army Green.

Size 46"h x 46"w x 14.5"d. Condition: Surface Rust and Oxidation. One door has the turn key under the lock broken off.
